Transfer

¡Hola Todos!

Goodbye Rivadavia:/ I got the news that I will be leaving my area tomorrow for this next transfer. I will be heading to Mercedes (Elder Huber tells me that the ward mission leader is a little crazy haha. He is from Germany and talks funny apparently.) which is an area in the countryside, so im going back to farmland looks like. Almost a year ago I was in the countryside in 25 de Mayo! I have mixed emotions about leaving but Im definitely excited to start a new chapter in my mission! I had great success in a lot of different ways here, with my companion, personal growth, the members, and baptisms. I feel that I will be leaving this area better than I found it for sure. So it will be missed.
One fun thing we did this week here was we did what is called a "Capilla Abierta" or Open Chapel of the church here. We have been passing out invitations for awhile to invite people to a tour of the chapel. It turned out really great with all the members helping out and making stands for their organizacions with food and everything. It was a great production. Sadly not very many people came in, but the ones that did really enjoyed it and want to learn more! More than anything the activity helped strengthen the members and get them excited about missionary work, so all and all it was a success.
I dont have much more to say for this week, but I´ll let you all know next week how I´m settling into my new area! Wish me luck!

Elder Trent

me-Do you know who your new companion is?
Tyler-I know his name. Its Elder Lopez. so Im going to get a latin wahoo!! for the first time. I dont know him, but I think he has like 3-4 months on the mission. And I will be district leader over there as well. Elder Huber actually came from that area to then be with me so I pretty much know everything about the area already. everyone says its a pretty city. I will be on a bike again! Its also close to Lujan which is a pretty touristy place that I will be able to go to on Pdays.

Last District meeting the hermana rodriguez made us peruvian food again whaoo!! its called lomo saltado, its soo good.
When you go to peru you have to try it. also try arroz chaufa and there are a few other things but I dont remember what they are called, all good though.

divisions with Elder Motta from Brazil! I am pretty much fluent in portegues now haha no jk. But I was learning while I was with him that day. It pretty easy if you know English and Spanish so I learned quite a bit.

Elder Huber is goofy like that and put his scarf on his head like an arabic. then i decided to join in and take a picture haha.

Dont ask haha.

Peruvian food

Geronimo, one other preist from the ward and Sergio who is a return missionary that we are good friends with. You said hi to sergio because that is the house i skyped you from.
