¡Hola Todos!

Im doing great! The weather here is perfect right now so thats an added blessing. This week overall was pretty good. We werent able to have a ton of lessions, but the ones we had really counted and were good. I would rather have it that way anyways.

Miracle of the Week: I dont usually mention a lot about the other side of missionary work which is retention. So the miracle of the week has to do with this. So there are two younger guys that are friends in the ward that are inactive. One is married to a nonmember. We have been working with them so they can come back to church and also would be nice to baptize his wife;) Anyways, after a long time they both finally came to church yesterday! The first step towards many we hope!

Scripture of the Week: The scripture of the week would have to be in Alma...in this moment I forgot where it is...I think it is in chapter 23...But its about how the AntiNephiLehites buried their weapons in the Earth to not have the temptation to sin more and to commit themselves more to God. Every one of us has our "weapon of rebellion" in our lives that we NEED to bury whether you feel its justified or not. Could be something has small as the music we listen to or not doing our home teaching. I dont know haha. Whatever it is, i would encourage you all to bury it and recommit yourselves to the Lord in this.

New Investigator of the Week: So on Sunday, we clapped on a house looking for an inactive families house. A 17 year old guy came out. We started talking to him and turns out he is "atheist". We started talker more and he said later that maybe it was just hard for him to believe. We told him we could help him. He let us pass and we taught him the Restauration. Oh and his name is Tobias. The lesson went very well. He suprisling understood everything super clearly, how we need authority and prophets today, etc. When we asked if he would be baptized, which is crucial here as everyone says, "I already got baptized", he said the same thing but then thought for a minute and said oh wait it would have to be done with this permition thing. He then said if he knows from God that we have that he will get baptized. Super smart kid and a good spiritual lesson. We are very excited to see him again and see if he read and prayed to know. We have faith!

Investigator Progress Update: This week was a little bit difficult to get ahold of investigators and a few appointments fell with them including Rosa and Geronimo. But we were able to see Geronimo come to church by himself last Sunday and he was able to share his powerful testimony! He is so ready to be baptized already! We plan to talk to his parents this week, as they said that now he can be baptized in a month! Also, sadly, we had to drop Carlos after we brought a member to the lesson. It did not go well at all, and Carlos is very stuck in his ways and believes.

Love you all and have a great April week!
