Wow, its amazing how fast these weeks past by! Im loving it out here still with Elder Connell! This week we were able to go to Chivilcoy and have special trainings with President all day last wednsday and we also all had interviews. Im so grateful for the Mission President I have, he is a very inpired man and I learn a ton from him always when we talk with him. Not much more to say about this week, the work is continuing no mas. We are still working with our investigators with baptismal dates Andres, and Mario and Yacklin. Our biggest struggle has been progressing investigators for awhile now and continue to work with that. But we are doing very well!
This week I did divisions with Elder Sheen, an Elder in the other side of 25 de Mayo. Both of us are new in the missions, not knowing the language very well. I was pretty nervous to do it. But it turned out very well! We were able to see many miracles during the day. We were able to communicate enough during the day with everyone and had a lot of success! We realized that we can do alot more in our companionships even though we are newer. it was definitely a confidence builder for us. This week I hope to do a lot more and participate a lot more in my companionship, because I know I can. I was definitely grateful for this experience even though it was a little scary and intimidating.
Spiritual Experience of the Week: An investigator that we have named Kevin doesnt have much faith or much belief in God. He doesnt know whether he has the desire to have it and if it will help him in his life. We were able to help him actually know what faith was and how he needs to act. That if he starts to show his faith and read and pray, he will have that desire and gain a testimony. We had a very spiritual lesson with him on this this week, and it reemphasized the importance to me, of acting. And how importance that is in our lifes to feel the happiness from the Gospel and grow our testimonies.
Scripture of the Week: My scripture this week is a pretty well known one, but I like it a lot so Im going to share it anyways. Its 2 Nephi 25:26. Talking about how we talk, rejoice, preach, etc of Christ so that our children can know of where to turn. I love this scripture. To me, its just reminds me of the importance of talking and teaching of Christ everywhere and especially in our homes and how important it is to talk about always to be able to have that foundation in the home, the unity. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he knows and helps with all that we are going through if we let him.
Fact of the Week: Happy Halloween last saturday! We celebrated by buying some cookies and milk saturday night. Fun fact, here they dont celebrate it, because they think its more of an evil thing and are scared about that types of things.
Love you all!
Thank you Tyler for your letters! We are are back in the states cheering you on! I love reading your words and of your testimony. You strengthen us!
